Mmhm les start with recent events (what?i cant always think of spontaneous introductions yknow?)
A few days ago, we all had yet another milestone in our lives,.. Prom night!Which was said to be like the last supper for our hihs family.And indeed,the event was emotionally memorable.
For me,it was my first time attending prom,so the experience was an eyeopener.Seeing everyone in their best clothes,the guys wearing their best which is in accordance to their taste in dressing,and the girls looking so much different with their make ups and dresses haha.It just felt like prom to me,and this feel was extremely appropriate to the occasion.
The theme for our prom was Hollywood in the seventies,and if you were there,it'd be painfully obvious to you that almost everyone,chose to be ignorant to the theme.Blame the teacher who set such a theme which was out of its league in fashion.clothes for
retro and vintage also costs a bomb,and far exceeds the budget of most students.EVen if u got the cash,such a theme is far too unreasonable and difficult to pull off.So yep,a thought-to-be-unique theme backfired. Kazam:D


Heres a classic example which i saw for myself:
A black blazer,bright yellow vest and a red tie.(yes bright colours were IN in the seventies,but it just looks so wrong on this dude.Colour contrasting?hello?)To top it up and make matters worse,the certain fellow dressing like that had an indecently big body build as well,which makes him look like a living walking ferris wheel.=x sorry i have a knack to say such hurtful words when it comes to bad dressing..LOL.

SO what most guys wore, well majority that is,and my friends included, decided to go with Punk dressing. Yes,slim ties,slim jeans,(not for beefy thighs hahaha)(vests if needed) chains if u want ,and sneakers.Yep spontaneous,rugged,carefree styles with a punch of hardcore attitude yea!

All in all, everyone looked their best,and really flaunted their own styles here and there.(like the prom king who wore bright red skinnies and pulled his look of*claps*)
ENouGH OF CLOTHES

BEsides seeing our friends in their best wear, having the privilege to dine together also made the experience valuable.Although we didnt get the best seats,but hey, at least im still dining with lu andy and my classmates.It really was fun, us joking,playing around and shoving the food about.

Our dear Ol' Mr maran also brought the whole ballroom to life with his talents in entertaining the crowd.HEs Mr spontaneous aight,for he really tacked in the joyous and cheerful mood for prom night,and made it oh so fun for all of us.He's jokes are so smooth, they never fail to hit the applause meter.Imagine straight royal flushe(s)*(note the plural,thas how good our history teacher is) in a card game haha.

When prom was over,we took pictures(uploaded asap)and headed for our movie~Enchanted.WHich was about different ideologies of love,and a gruelling thrilling story where a princess finds out that love isnt always sweet and smooth like in fairytales.FAntasy entwined with reality,plus tints of irony~ a must watch:D

Uhuh all in all it was a memorable day:D one which i deprived myself of sleep too hehe
